*This service cover 1 knife repair and must be purchased in addition to a Mail-In Sharpening Service Package
This service will cover 1 broken knife tip up to 1/4 inch or large edge chips up to 1/8 inch. Please measure or call 919-673-1901 for information of you are unsure if the damage is within repair limits. Pictures may be sent through email so we may inspect the damage before your purchase. If you knife has both a broke tip and edge chips in the blade, Out there Edge will do the best we can to repair both issues without an additional charge.
*Broken tips will be ground downward from the spine of the bade towards the tip, creating a new tip. The original knife shape will be preserved as much as possible.
*Chipped edges must be ground from the edge upwards to remove the chips from the edge. Once the chips are removed, a new edge will be created.
